Turkish Culture Magazine Cornucopia Launches New Digital Archive

Bi-annual magazine Cornucopia has joined forces with digital publishing platform Exact Editions to offer individual and institutional subscribers unlimited access to a fully-searchable archive of 15 fascinating back issues. The brand new resource is available cross-platform on web, iOS and Android and proffers a seamless browsing experience that allows the title’s highly-esteemed cultural content to be delved into at the touch of a button.

Beautiful enough to sit on coffee tables and authoritative enough to satisfy academic scholars, Cornucopia is the magazine for connoisseurs of Turkey. Covering history, culture, art, food and travel within its glossy pages, the remarkable publication is an ever-growing compendium of all things Turkish. First launched in 1992, the magazine has been described as ‘a cross between World of Interiors and National Geographic’ by Tyler Brûlé in the Financial Times, a portrayal that perfectly encapsulates the magazine’s perfect blend of enlightening content and spectacular design.

The cutting-edge archive facilitates a comprehensive search function, permitting users to instantly find a specific article, location or topic. Individual pages from the archive can be easily bookmarked, downloaded and shared digitally with fellow readers to spread the cultural wonder of the magazine.

Cornucopia is available in the Exact Editions shops here:

John Scott, editor of Cornucopia, commented: “We’re excited about the new opportunities that the digital edition will bring both individual and institutional subscribers, and the intuitive usability of the platform. For three decades we have focussed on all that is timeless and worth preserving about Turkey in fast-changing times with in depth, elegantly written and beautifully illustrated articles. Our back issues have always been considered an important resource. As we approach our 30th anniversary, it is heartening that this wealth of exclusive material will now be at the fingertips of a far wider audience.”

Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions, said: “The dazzling front covers and photographs featured throughout the publication look wonderful on the digital platform. The academic promise of the archive is clear now that subscribers can efficiently browse the wealth of fascinating content.”
