Tribal Art Magazine Launches Complete Archive Of French-Language Edition
Quarterly publication Tribal Art Magazine has joined forces with digital publishing experts Exact Editions to create a brand new fully-searchable archive of back issues of the French edition of the magazine. The cutting-edge digital resource joins its anglophone counterpart in offering individual and institutional subscriptions to the complete 25-year archive across web, iOS and Android platforms.
Tribal Art Magazine is a luxury quarterly publication dedicated to the promotion of knowledge about, and the appreciation of, traditional populations of Africa, Oceania, Asia and the Americas. Each issue features in-depth articles authored by international scholars and specialists, reviews of exhibitions, interviews with key figures in the industry, histories of objects and collections, and comprehensive coverage of the latest art market news.
Thanks to Exact Editions’ innovative platform, the archived magazine’s content is fully searchable for the very first time, offering a unique browsing experience. The depth and breadth of content renders the digital resource an extremely functional research tool for students, artists, historians, authors, librarians and museum professionals alike, as well as anyone interested in world culture.
Subscriptions to the French edition of Tribal Art Magazine are available in the Exact Editions institutional and individual shops here:
Production Manager Françoise Barrier said about the launch: “The innovative search tool integrated into the new archive will be of great use to amateurs and industry professionals alike. It’s amazing that 25 years’ worth of content is available at the click of a button!”
Managing Director of Exact Editions, Daryl Rayner, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome the French edition to the platform! The availability of the francophone issues will extend the reach of the archive to even more art lovers internationally and increase the title’s institutional potential.”
