Seattle Business becomes first business magazine in Washington State on the iPad

Seattle WA, 22nd October 2010, Seattle Business Magazine, Washington State’s leading business magazine, announced today that it has released its publication on the popular iPad format. Readers can browse part of Seattle Business Magazine on the iPad at no cost.

The title can be found in the Apple App Store and purchased in full for $3.99 here

“Seattle Business provides leading business coverage on the issues and trends not just in Seattle, but in all of Washington State, so we’re especially pleased to be able to offer our award-winning design to all residents of Washington via the iPad,” said John Kueber, Group Publisher.

The freemium app was developed by Exact Editions, the London-based digital publishing company. The app features in-app purchasing, fully searchable text and Pageflow for easy navigation. The latest issue can be synced for offline reading.

The apps can be downloaded for free with some open access content and the opportunity to upgrade to the full version for a 30-day subscription.

Daryl Rayner, Managing Director at Exact Editions thinks that “full-page photos, such as those of Woman Business Owner finalists in the October issue, are particularly brought to life on the iPad.”
