JazzTimes launches fully-searchable archive of 80 issues

Award-winning magazine JazzTimes is now offering state-of-the-art subscriptions to individuals and institutions through its new collaboration with digital publishing experts Exact Editions. Together, they have created an extensive ever-growing archive of over 80 fascinating issues accessible on web, iOS and Android.

Since its inception in 1970, JazzTimes has served as an invaluable source of information and views on jazz music’s past, present and future. Published 10 times a year, each issue features profiles of industry stars and detailed reviews of events, artists and organisations. Dubbed ‘America’s Jazz Magazine’, the well-established title is often controversial and always entertaining, cementing it as a firm favourite for jazz fans around the world.

Perusal of the extensive 8-year archive is facilitated by an intuitive search function that allows singers, songs and specific articles to be located and enjoyed within seconds. Fans of the genre can easily share features and bookmark pages, adding to the seamless reader experience.

JazzTimes is available in the Exact Editions institutional and individual shops here:

Jason Pomerantz is Vice President of Circulation Strategy at Madavor Media, publisher of JazzTimes. He said: “The 8 years’ worth of compelling content will be incredibly sought after by jazz enthusiasts all over the world. We’re thrilled to be offering this new type of subscription that allows readers to track trends of the genre throughout the past decade.”

Daryl Rayner, Managing Director of Exact Editions, is delighted with the new addition to the platform. She commented: “The new archive is visually stunning and the exclusive cover photography and state-of-the-art graphic design that JazzTimes is well-known for transfers wonderfully in to a digital format.”
