" ROCKETTING PHEASANTS : THE BRITISH CLAY TARGET CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The Clay Target Shooting Championships of Great Britain were held last week on the shooting grounds at Worcester Park, about sixty guns from all parts of the United Kingdom taking part. The event is decided on an 80-target competition and the clay-birds are made to simulate shots at game such as walking up," " driven grouse," " rocketting pheasants " and "driven partridge." The holder of the Championship, Mr. C. W. Mackworth Praed, repeated his success of last year with a score of 7I out of the possible 8o. Mr. G. S. Horne was runner-up with 68.
