" WHERE DID THAT ONE GO TO ? "-MAURICE TATE DOSED WITH HIS OWN PHYSIC.

Man, being a rather vindictive creature, takes much pleasure in seeing the biter bitten-and this will probably explain why this cricket picture will have such a singular appeal. for all those unhappy batsmen who have had to stand up to Maurice Tate bowling at his best. Here " the arch-deceiver " is seen looking enquiringly for a brilliant delivery from Mr. Nigel Haig, which has (to all appearances) utterly eluded him. The ball came harmlessly to rest in Murrell's hands.
