PUTTING DOWN A SETTER : ON MR. A. C. McCORQUODALE'S GLENSPEAN SHOOT.
Glenspean, in the Fort William district of Inverness-shire, is the property of The Mackintosh, and is being shot over by Mr. A.C. McCorquodale. It is an excellent shooting, extending over something like 24,000 acres and yielding up to 700 brace of grouse. There is trout fishing in the rivers on the ground, and the lodge, which was destroyed by fire three years ago, has been rebuilt with all modern requirements.
